School Uniform

No uniform is worn uniform at Little Ealing Primary School; we prefer to allow children and their parents/carers a choice in what they wear to school, encouraging individuality, personal taste and style.  We simply expect children to be dressed sensibly and practically, ready to enjoy a busy day at school.

We believe that our culture and ethos ensure that Little Ealing children have a sense of community and belonging and that they don't need a uniform to instil respect and discipline.

Going to school should always be enjoyable, but it is also a learning environment, so we like to see children dressed for practical and sometimes messy activities.

We also ask that children be dressed in clothing and footwear that they can manage independently.

We advise that on P.E. days, children come to school dressed appropriately for being active, whether in gymnastics or general physical activity.

We advise that parents write or sew their children's names onto their clothing.  The school and staff will not take any responsibility for returning clothing which is not labelled.

Watches, small stud earrings or religious items required by the child’s faith may be worn.  No other items of jewellery are allowed.
